For several decades the Gortani family, with the father Renato and his sons Michele and Pietro, has been involved in the transformation of milk, derived from the rearing of cows exclusively of Italian brown breed, into fresh and traditional dairy products. Examples are the Malga cheese, with an intense flavour of herbs, and the Zoncolan, whose name comes from the homonymous mountain on which the cows are brought to graze during the summer.
